High-Jewelry Creations Show Off a Burst of Color, From Louis Vuitton to Bulgari
Color, color, color! Word on the street is colored stones are becoming increasingly important to serious collectors and the high jewelry houses in Paris certainly deliver with a much needed dose of vibrancy. Van Cleef & Arpels flexes its stone-setting skills in its Traversée Mystérieuse bracelet decked in rich sapphires accented with diamond edges, while rubies drip all over Louis Vuitton’s opulent Splendeur collar necklace.
Meanwhile, Pomellato chose the rainbow. The house mixes a multitude of collars from green peridots, blue tanzanite to soft pink morganite and more, all featuring seriously collectible stones. While some come in intricate settings, others let the stones speak for themselves. Either way it placed an emphasis on the fact that collectors are leaning toward gems that are rich in color and significance.
