Michelin has found 19 more reasons to dine out in the Philippines. For its 2027 guide, it recognizes 127 establishments, although the country’s highest culinary honor remains in familiar hands. Chef Josh Boutwood’s Helm retains its two Michelin Stars for the second consecutive year.

The latest selection, announced this Thursday, October 29, at the Manila Marriott Hotel at Newport World Resorts, also welcomes Flow into the one-star ranks. The restaurant joins eight returning Michelin-starred establishments, including Toyo Eatery, Gallery by Chele, Hapag, and Linamnam. No restaurant received three stars this year.

A year after Michelin makes its Philippine debut, its recognition extends to a wider selection of dining establishments across Metro Manila, its neighboring provinces, and Cebu. The latest guide increases the number of Bib Gourmand recipients from 25 to 31, with 10 new additions, while the Michelin Selected category expands to 86 establishments.

Meanwhile, among the newest Bib Gourmand recipients are Balay Dako, Apag Marangle, and Tito Boy. Each restaurant is recognized for its exceptional cooking at reasonable prices.

Four individual awards also honor outstanding talent across the industry. Chef Francis Lacson of Digámo receives the Young Chef Award, while Frances Tariga of Tadhana earns the Opening of the Year Award. Ron Job Sanchez of Automat, on the other hand, is named the Exceptional Cocktails Award recipient, and Clyde Joshua Zafra of Tito Boy receives the Service Award.

Chef Chele González also receives recognition through Michelin’s Mindful Voices initiative, an editorial series highlighting individuals advancing new approaches to gastronomy and hospitality. The initiative succeeds the Green Star program, under which Gallery by Chele received recognition in the guide’s inaugural Philippine edition.
