Bold, innovative, bespoke: these qualities often link the worlds of private jet aviation and luxuryLuxuryA lifestyle defined by exceptional quality, craftsmanship, exclusivity, and sophistication, encompassing the finest products, services, and experiences that represent the highest standards of refinement and excellence.Go to Luxury Glossary cars, where precision engineering and personalized design combine to create a class that stands apart.

Renowned jet makers like Bombardier and Embraer have teamed up with iconic marques—such as Aston Martin and Bentley—to create aircraft that embody the spirit of high-end motoring. These jets offer not only exceptional performance in the skies but also interiors that echo the elegance of a lavishly appointed car.

From hand-stitched leather upholstery to custom paint finishes and polished metal accents, these seven remarkable private aviation and automotive collaborations showcase the same dedication to craftsmanship and comfort that sets the standard in both worlds.

Porsche × Embraer: A Perfect Pair on the Road and Runway

When Porsche and Embraer unveiled the “Duet,” they offered something no other collaboration had done before—a matched set for the runway and the highway. Limited to just 10 pairings, the project tied the Embraer Phenom 300E, the world’s best-selling light jet, with a Porsche 911 Turbo S, one of the brand’s fastest road cars. Both vehicles share identical two-tone paintwork, the same bespoke interior stitching, and even matching registration numbers to signify their bond.

From the doorsills to the seat headrests, design cues echo across both machines: Porsche’s distinctive sports car elements blend seamlessly with Embraer’s aviation expertise. This collaboration wasn’t just about style, it spoke to the owner who wants an unmistakable signature of personal taste.

BMW DesignworksUSA × Embraer: Automotive Thinking in the Sky Lounge

Embraer partnered with BMW’s creative department, DesignworksUSA, to incorporate a fresh automotive sensibility into the interiors of its Phenom 100 and 300 jets. The cabins were reimagined to feel like a sophisticated BMW lounge with sleek finishes, contoured seating, and clean lighting lines combined to create a calm, driver-like environment for passengers in flight. What made this stand out was BMW’s approach to intuitive design. Ergonomics, placement of controls, and the overall flow of the cabin mirrored the studio’s philosophy for premium cars.

The result gave the Phenom jets a distinctive edge: aircraft interiors with the polish and practicality you’d expect in a luxury car yet adapted for altitude.

Aston Martin × Airbus: Where Road-Bred LuxuryLuxuryA lifestyle defined by exceptional quality, craftsmanship, exclusivity, and sophistication, encompassing the finest products, services, and experiences that represent the highest standards of refinement and excellence.Go to Luxury Glossary Takes Flight

When Aston Martin turned its eye to the skies with Airbus, the result was the ACH130 Aston Martin Edition, a helicopter that channels the soul of a grand tourerGrand TourerA high-performance car designed for fast, comfortable long-distance driving, combining a powerful engine with a luxurious cabin. The grand tourer prioritizes refinement over track focus, and models from Bentley, Ferrari,Go to Grand Tourer Glossary. Finished in special Aston Martin color schemes and fitted with hand-stitched leather and elegant trim, the cabin feels like an airborne extension of an Aston Martin DB11 or Vantage.

This three-year collaboration produced a unique crossover where automotive craftsmanship met rotorcraft engineering. From custom door panels to embroidered logos and matching exterior paint, the ACH130 brings the same handcrafted touchpoints you’d find in an Aston Martin sports car—only this time, you’re cruising at 5,000 feet.

Bentley Mulliner × Flexjet: Bacalar Style in the Sky

Taking Bentley’s bespoke service beyond the garage, private aviation brand Flexjet partnered with Mulliner—Bentley’s personalization division—to bring the limited-run Bacalar’s distinctive design codes into the skies. The Bacalar’s signature elements, such as quilted leather seats, wood veneer panels and refined metal details, were integrated into the interiors of Flexjet’s Gulfstream G650 private jet and Sikorsky S-76 helicopter, transforming each cabin into a flying reflection of Bentley’s handcrafted luxury.

This collaboration blurs the lines between supercar, helicopter and private jet, proving how far a brand’s DNA can travel when true customization is involved. For Flexjet owners, it’s a seamless transition from road to runway, experiencing the same level of bespoke craftsmanship at cruising altitude as they do behind the wheel of a hand-built Bentley.

Mercedes-Benz × Eurocopter: A LuxuryLuxuryA lifestyle defined by exceptional quality, craftsmanship, exclusivity, and sophistication, encompassing the finest products, services, and experiences that represent the highest standards of refinement and excellence.Go to Luxury Glossary Car DNA for the Skies

Dubbed the “Luxuricopter” when it debuted in 2010, the Mercedes-Benz Style Eurocopter EC145 brought the cabin feel of an S-Class into a twin-engine helicopter. Its modular interior featured leather-wrapped seats, ambient cabin lighting, polished wood flooring, and in-flight entertainment—details lifted straight from Mercedes’ design playbooks.

This collaboration proved that automotive luxury could translate just as beautifully to rotorcraft. By infusing the helicopter with passenger car comforts, Mercedes and Eurocopter showed how helicopter travel could be as refined and personalized as a chauffeured ride on the ground.

Hyundai × Rolls-Royce: Next-Gen Flight with Automotive Roots

Looking to the future of personal air mobility, Hyundai partnered with Rolls-Royce to develop advanced electric and hydrogen fuel-cell propulsion systems for small air vehicles. Rather than styling an interior, this venture rethinks what next-gen flight could look like from a sustainability perspective.

For Hyundai—a brand better known for its cars—joining forces with Rolls-Royce’s aviation expertise signals a bold leap into the air. It’s a glimpse of a world where the technologies that power our roads today could soon lift us into cleaner, quieter skies tomorrow.
