‘Wonder Woman’ Star Gal Gadot Is Selling Her Oceanfront Penthouse in Malibu for $8.8 Million

The three-bedroom condo on Carbon Beach is perfectly positioned between the beach city’s iconic pier and the celebrity-favored restaurant Nobu.

Back in 2020—the same year she starred in and coproduced Wonder Woman 1984 and was also ranked by Forbes as the third highest-paid actress with earnings of $31.5 million—Gal Gadot picked up an oceanfront in the heart of Malibu, between Nobu and the beach city’s landmarked pier.

Gadot purchased the vacation digs from Bui Simon for $5 million, almost $4.2 million more than the Thai philanthropist and former Miss Universe paid for the property in the early 1990s when she was just 25 years old and still many years away from marrying billionaire real estate developer and Indiana Pacers owner Herbert Simon. Now the place has once again returned to the market, this time for $8.75 million. Benjamin Illulian of Illulian Realty holds the listing.

Hovering atop a gated, four-unit complex built in the early 1980s, the condo has three bedrooms and an equal number of bathrooms in roughly 2,000 square feet of fully renovated, cream-hued living space boasting dark hardwood floors throughout. It also comes with 80 feet of frontage on the exclusive Carbon Beach, plus a two-car garage and secure guest parking for up to eight vehicles.

Highlights include a step-down living room topped by a wood-beamed skylight embedded in a lime-washed ceiling and featuring a modern tubular fireplace and walls of glass spilling out to an expansive covered and tiled balcony with a fire pit and unobstructed views of the Pacific. An adjacent dining area connects to the petite kitchen, which has custom cabinetry, granite countertops, high-end appliances, and a breakfast bar.

Elsewhere is a cozy media room with angled windows and recessed lighting, as well as a primary suite hosting a custom walk-in closet and a luxe bath. The HOA fees run $1,200 per month.

A native of Israel, the 40-year-old actress made her film debut in 2009 as Gisele Yashar in Fast & Furious alongside Vin Diesel, reprising the role in several sequels. She went on to portray Wonder Woman in several DC Extended Universe films and then starred in director Patty Jenkins’s box-office hit Wonder Woman in 2017. Most recently, she appeared as the Evil Queen in Disney’s Snow White, a live-action remake of the original 1937 animated film, and she also became the first Israeli actor to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2025.

Gadot and her husband, Tel Aviv real estate developer Yaron Varsano, still own a home in Israel and a mansion in the Hollywood Hills they purchased around a decade ago for $5.6 million.
