We’re seeing shifts in consumer demographics, and the expansion of the counterfeit market continues to be a growing concern. At the same time, brands have to adapt to a rapidly evolving retail landscape.
It is important to me that the brands we work with own the entire process—from design and development to manufacturing, marketing, and after—sales service. I really only work with companies that truly understand manufacturing because that end-to-end capability ensures quality, consistency, and accountability. Maintaining brand exclusivity is a tough journey, and it’s not just about having the rights to distribute a name; it’s about trust, loyalty, and shared values. True exclusivity comes from strong business relationships, professionalism, and performance. There must be a sense of partnership that goes beyond transactions.
Balancing physical retail with online presence is also one of the biggest strategic challenges. But when done right, expanding its reach without diluting its identity, it can actually elevate the brand. I believe that social media plays an important role in how we navigate this shift. It helps us shape visual identity—showcasing the craftsmanship, the materials, and the lifestyle behind each piece. It opens doors for designer and influencer collaborations that reinforce brand values. And most importantly, it allows direct engagement with potential clients. That kind of direct communication wasn’t possible before, and now it’s a crucial part of building relevance. Influencers and key opinion leaders have a place in this ecosystem, too, but not just any influencer. The ones that matter are those with design credibility and an authentic connection to the brand’s lifestyle. Their role is more about trust and brand building than immediate sales.
Every decision I make—from the brands I represent to the way we communicate—comes down to long-term vision and integrity. It’s about the depth of the relationship, the honesty of the product, and the ability to offer something meaningful and lasting to the people we serve.
