Ferrari has developed an unusually sophisticated vocabulary of colors, fabrics, and finishes for a company best known for building fast cars. Through its Tailor Made program, clients can take those choices into increasingly unconventional territory. Montblanc’s latest collaboration with the Italian automaker brings some of that experimentation to a considerably smaller object. The Meisterstück Great Masters Ferrari Tailor Made Inedita Special Edition is the second writing instrument developed with the Ferrari Design Studio under the program. Its predecessor, the Classica, arrived in 2025 with traditional materials and references to Ferrari’s grand touring heritage. Inedita, conversely, moves into more experimental territory, borrowing from the marque’s appetite for technical materials and unexpected combinations. Carbon fiber forms both the cap and barrel, which effectively gives the pen a textured surface and lightweight construction.
