This One-off Porsche 911 Was Inspired by the Mountains of Taiwan

Porsche just unveiled its newest 911 Carrera, a stunning ode to the mountains of Taiwan, with a bespoke livery and interior for zooming the roads there in style. The 911 Carrera T “Formosa” was unveiled earlier this month as a one-of-a-kind product of the marque’s Sonderwunsch program, which lets customers customize their cars virtually to their heart’s content. The resulting vehicle can legitimately be called one-of-a-kind, and is also “professionally realized” by Porsche, meaning that the car’s value in the secondary market should be a bit more protected and owners can say that their new ride was part of the original production run. Porsche’s Sonderwunsch program has roots in the 1970s and, these days, fits in nicely with luxury automakers’ desires to be more bespoke, capitalizing on increased customer interest. In the case of the 911 Carerra T “Formosa,” the customized options start with the livery, which is painted in a blue inspired by the waters..
