Following a £35 million acquisition and £90 million transformation, the historic property now offers 116 rooms, including 23 suites, alongside an 18-hole championship golf course and lake-inspired spa. Gordon Ramsay anchors the dining program, while The Orangery handles afternoon tea and champagne. It becomes Fairmont’s fourth British address, joining The Savoy, Windsor Park, and St Andrews.

Louis Vuitton Is Reviving Its Classic Car Rally
Louis Vuitton is reviving its Classic Run after a 14-year hiatus, bringing 25 vintage cars to Italy from September 1 to 4. The Dolomites Run will begin at Villa Pisani near Venice and cover roughly 373 miles before finishing at Monza ahead of the Italian Grand Prix. Eligible cars, including models from Bugatti, Maserati, and Ferrari, must date from 1970 or earlier. The winner receives a Sabine Marcelis-designed Venini trophy presented, naturally, in a bespoke Louis Vuitton trunk.

This T. Rex Just Became the World’s Priciest Dinosaur
A Tyrannosaurus rex named “Gus” has become the most valuable dinosaur ever sold at auction. The 67-million-year-old skeleton fetched $50.1 million with fees at Sotheby’s New York, crushing its $20 million to $30 million estimate and surpassing the $44.6 million record set by the stegosaurus Apex in 2024. Excavated in South Dakota between 2021 and 2023, Gus stands 12.5 feet tall and stretches roughly 38 feet long. Its 183 fossilized bone elements make it approximately 61 percent complete by bone count.
Denza’s 1,971 HP Supercar Is Coming for the Nürburgring
Denza has turned its Z into a full-blown electric supercar. Unveiled at Goodwood, the BYD-owned marque’s flagship uses three motors to produce 1,582 hp, while the Racing and Special Edition versions raise output to 1,971 hp. Those range-toppers can hit 62 mph in 1.7 seconds and reach 217 mph, with the Special Edition set to chase a Nürburgring Nordschleife record this fall. A 76-kWh Blade battery offers up to 255 miles of range and can recharge from 10 to 97 percent in nine minutes.
