Three Chefs, One Night at Celera
Celera’s Nicco Santos and Quenee Vilar welcome Zor Tan of Singapore-based Born into their kitchen tonight for a one-night-only collaboration. Both Celera and Born hold one Michelin starMichelin StarA prestigious rating awarded by the Michelin Guide to restaurants of exceptional quality, with one, two, or three stars. It brings together chefs from two cities with a shared interest in how Southeast Asian cuisine continues to evolve, and where it might go next.
The menu brings together Celera’s pan-Asian approach and Born’s contemporary Chinese cooking, shaped by Tan’s “Circle of Life” philosophy. It departs from Celera’s regular offerings and will be served only for the evening.
Expect the interplay of Sichuan heat with the sweet-salty balance familiar in Filipino cooking, where Tan’s precision meets Celera’s more expressive style.
The event opens The Star Course Series, presented by UnionBank of the Philippines and Visa, which focuses on one-off collaborations with Michelin-starred kitchens across the region.
The series continues in May at Gallery by Chele, with Chele González, Carlos Villaflor hosting Gerard Villaret Horcajo of Elements, Inspired by Ciel Bleu, known for its French cuisine with Japanese influences.
