Philippine design is starting strong this year with the ongoing DESIGNPhilippines’ exhibit at Maison&Objet in Paris. Led by the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), the banner program participation in Maison&Objet. Recognized as one of the world’s premier platforms for home, lifestyle, and design, the fair’s 2026 theme, Past Reveals Future, explores how heritage continues to inform contemporary creation—an idea closely aligned with the way Filipino brands draw from tradition while designing for a global market. At Maison&Objet, DESIGNPhilippines presents Artipelago III, a curated showcase featuring 14 Filipino brands working with natural materials such as rattan, bamboo, stone, abaca, and indigenous weaves.
