The best place to sip a Negroni may be Hong Kong, not Italy. Bar Leone, an Italian-themed watering hole in the city’s buzzy Central district, scored first place in the World’s 50 Best Bars list this year. The 17th edition of the annual list was announced at an awards ceremony in Hong Kong on Wednesday evening, marking the first time a bar in Asia has claimed top position. Bar Leone opened less than three years ago, but has been crowned Asia’s best bar for the past two years. It also clinched second place in the World’s 50 Best Bars list last year.
