Loewe brings its Spanish heritage to Tokyo’s Harajuku district with the second edition of Crafted World, first launched in Shanghai in 2024. Now it's in Tokyo, running from March to May 2025 and offering visitors an immersive experience that blends Loewe’s rich heritage with contemporary artistry and craftsmanship. The occasion celebrates nearly two centuries of the Maison’s rich legacy. Loewe’s creative director, Jonathan Anderson, curated the exhibit in collaboration with renowned architectural firm OMA. Together, they designed six thematic chapters that explore the Maison’s evolution, artistry, and cultural influence, while also showcasing curated works from cultural projects across Japan and beyond. The first chapter, Born from the Hand, delves into the brand’s origins as a leather-making collective, highlighting made-to-order and archival pieces. This includes the iconic Amazona, Flamenco, and Puzzle bags, alongside architectural models, archive photographs, and advertising.
