Since last year’s solar eclipse cause a massive travel boom, it’s never too early to start thinking about 2027’s celestial event and where in the world you want to experience it. Luxury travel operator Geographic Expeditions has unveiled a new itinerary aimed at just that: The company, which specializes in curated adventures, will be taking guests to the best vantage points across ancient Egypt to witness the solar eclipse in 2027. As previously mentioned, the 10-day journey doesn’t kick off for another two years, however, that’s because it’s scheduled to align perfectly with the phenomenon, which is expected to peak in Luxor, a city on the east bank of the Nile River. Joining the voyage will be certified Egyptologists in addition to Ed Krupp, the long-time director of the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles and the resident astronomer for the trip who can shed some light on the relationship between ancient Egyptian civilization and the cosmos. The adventure will begin in Cairo on July..
