Wolfgang's Live! at Newport I’ve always loved the idea of supper clubs. And when matched with a classic Wolfgang’s Porterhouse and a dish of creamed spinach, perfect! Peter Zwiener, Wolfgang’s son, was in town from New York last week, so we all got together at Wolfgang’s at Newport to listen to musical director Gino Cruz and his band. They played classics from Frank Sinatra to Judy Garland to Barry Manilow. Ella Fitzgerald to James Taylor to Sergio Mendes, paired with the familiar sizzle of excellent steak on a hot plate.
