Grand Soleil just gave its 65-foot sailing yacht a sporty twist. The Italian boat builder, one of three owned by Cantiere del Pardo, has unveiled a successor to the successful Grand Soleil 65. The new Grand Soleil 65 Plus Performance takes design cues from the GS 65 LC (Long Cruise) launched in 2023, but promises greater power, speed, and agility. The yacht debuted at the Palma International Boat Show in May, but this marks its official release. With exteriors by Nauta Design and naval architecture by Matteo Polli, the newcomer is as elegant as the LC but cuts an even sleeker silhouette. The gently tapered coachroof gives the yacht a low profile that is quite different from that of the LC.
