The 10 Most Expensive Charter Yachts on the High Seas

The top three cost more than $3 million per week, while the rest are not that far behind.

As superyachts continue to grow in length and volume, and the list of amenities jumps with them, the cost to charter some of the most impressive vessels on the water is also spiraling. Some of the builders are the usual suspects, including Lürssen, Benetti, and Feadship, but there are others such as Freire and Olympic Yachts that have also built several of the standout gigayachts. The top three most expensive yachts on the charter market in 2025 command a weekly rate of about $3.12 million. That’s enough to buy Oscar-winning actor Emma Stone’s L.A. mansion or six Maserati MC20s. Big prices don’t seem to bother big hitters, like when Beyoncé and Jay-Z chartered Flying Fox in 2021 as it commanded an even more breathtaking weekly rate of around $4.4 million (before U.S. sanctions took it off the market for two years).
