Ferdinand Alexander Porsche was the grandson of the automaker’s founder and a well regarded car designer in his own right, credited with shaping the first 911. Now F.A. Porsche has a new 911 named in his honor that was just unveiled by the marque on Thursday. The 911 GT3 90 F.A. Porsche will be limited to just 90 examples, the company said, each produced by Sonderwunsch Manufaktur, the automaker’s unit for custom vehicles. The new auto is painted in F.A. Green, which was inspired by the color F.A. Porsche had on his personal 911, called Oak Green. The wheels are painted Satin Black, and in the middle, on the lock hubs, there is a vintage Porsche crest. On the inside, there is a grid-weave fabric that looks a lot like F.A.
