Some weeks in luxuryLuxuryA lifestyle defined by exceptional quality, craftsmanship, exclusivity, and sophistication, encompassing the finest products, services, and experiences that represent the highest standards of refinement and excellence.Go to Luxury Glossary feel like a curated exhibition. This week is one of them. Across fashion, hospitality, and travel, the world’s most decorated names are unveiling projects left and right, fusing heritage and reinvention.
This week, Paris takes center stage as Louis Vuitton reimagines the glamour of 1925 with an Art Deco exhibition. In Rome, Silvia Venturini Fendi begins a new chapter as Honorary President, her creative influence distilled into heritage and vision. In Singapore, Aman unveils a sanctuary of serene design, while Preferred Hotels and Resorts charts a once-in-a-lifetime private jet odyssey.
Louis Vuitton Art Deco Exhibition
Louis Vuitton invites us all back to 1925 with the opening of the Louis Vuitton Art Deco exhibition in Paris. The show celebrates the centenary of the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts. Viewers are given a closer look at how one moment would later define the Art Deco movement. With it, we also see the House’s role within it.
Staged across eight immersive rooms, the exhibition traces the creative legacy of Gaston-Louis Vuitton, grandson of the founder, whose artistic vision ushered the Maison into a new era of modernity.
More than 300 heritage pieces (many of which have never been shown before) are on display. These include ingenious travel trunks like the auto trunk and wardrobe trunk, jewel-toned evening bags, plus exquisite toiletry cases once owned by icons like Marthe Chenal.
Furthermore, among the presentation’s delicious highlights are a reconstruction of Vuitton’s original 1925 expo stand, a tribute to Gaston-Louis’s visionary window displays on the Champs-Élysées, and a dazzling exploration of Art Deco’s bold lines, colors, and materials.

A New Chapter at Fendi
At Fendi, legacy is always personal. The Roman House announces Silvia Venturini Fendi as its honorary president. Her appointment is both tribute and transition, representing a legacy that feels both enduring and newly alive.
“These have been truly exciting years, a journey I walked in the name of my grandmother, my mother, and her sisters,” she reflects, recalling her decades alongside Karl Lagerfeld and, more recently, collaborations with Kim Jones. Chairman and CEO Ramon Rose, likewise, lauds her vision for carrying Fendi I from its Roman roots into international acclaim.
A third-generation member of the Fendi family, Silvia’s creative tenure has reshaped the brand’s accessories and menswear. She also steered the women’s collections during the brand’s centennial year.
Silvia now turns her attention to safeguarding the Maison’s heritage while continuing to champion its global presence, artisanal craftsmanship, and expanding the world of Fendi Casa. While a new creative structure is forthcoming, Silvia’s influence remains a bridge between heritage and future, artistry and design.
