1957 was the year Coco Chanel received the Neiman Marcus Fashion Award for Distinguished Service in the Field of Fashion. The number 19 marks the day of her birth, while 57 honors the address of Chanel’s iconic flagship boutique on 57th Street in New York.

Chanel 1957 Eau de Parfum is part of the Les Exclusifs de Chanel collection, a line of fragrances that represent different chapters of Chanel’s history. It’s an aromatic homage to the House’s enduring success. “For each fragrance in the Les Exclusifs de Chanel collection, we explore a path we have never taken,” explains Olivier Polge, Chanel’s master perfumer. He continues the legacy of his father Jacques, who served as Chanel’s perfumer for 37 years.

The fragrance reflects Polge’s fascination with musks. What might seem like a clean, minimalist canvas is anything but simple. Polge explains, “I opted to work with musk–more specifically, white musks. Their whiteness hides a great complexity: enveloping, they emit a more or less pronounced light, and vary in their soft and sensual effects. 1957 is a skin scent that, more than others, is revealed fully on the unique chemistry of each person’s skin.”

The result is a fragrance that feels both intimate and radiant, as if its character shifts with each individual who wears it. White musk is complemented by floral touches of iris and neroli. Bergamot adds a citrusy scent, along with hints of cedar and honey. The different notes make Chanel 1957 a versatile, gender-neutral fragrance perfect for any occasion.

Chanel 1957 Eau de Parfum comes in 200ml at Php 25,900, and 75ml at Php 14,750.

The Huile Parfum comes in 250ml at Php 18,850.
